On November 19, the capacity expansion project of Ake gas field of Tarim Oilfield Southwest Company was put into operation.
So far, the daily natural gas processing capacity of the Ake gas field has increased from 900000 cubic meters to 1.3 million cubic meters, which will greatly meet the gas demand of residents in Kashgar and Kezhou.
The project department of Southwest Tower Company is responsible for the capacity expansion project of Ake Gas Field, and the general contractor of Xinjiang Oilfield Construction Company is responsible for the construction. The project officially started in early October this year.
The capacity expansion project of Ake Gas Field is mainly to build a new gas gathering and dehydration station. The natural gas of the gathering dehydration station is mainly from wells Ake 4, Ake 401 and Ake 101. The gas gathering and dehydration station unit also includes the newly added inlet valve group, venting facilities, gas-liquid separator, electric heater and pressure regulating and metering valve group in Wuqia Terminal Station.
Natural gas processing capacity to improve, but also must have sufficient gas source. For this reason, Southwest Tower Company has added two gas source wells, Ake 101 Well and Ake 401 Well, which have been put into production at present, with an increase of about 500000 cubic meters of natural gas per day.
The Ake gas field is responsible for supplying gas to Kashgar and Kezhou. In recent years, the economy of Kashgar, Kezhou and other places has developed rapidly, and the industrial and residential gas volume has increased rapidly. In order to meet the needs of the people, Southwest Tower Company has implemented Ake Gas Field Reconstruction and Expansion Project twice. Last year, the second-phase expansion project of the Ake gas field was completed, increasing the daily natural gas processing capacity of the gas field from 400000 cubic meters to 900000 cubic meters.
