From November 22 to 24, PetroChina's 2011 Annual Oil and Gas Exploration Conference was held in Langfang. The meeting summarized the achievements and experience of oil and gas exploration in 2011 and arranged the deployment of key oil and gas exploration work in 2012. Zhou Jiping, general manager of the group company, member of the party group and president of China National Petroleum Corporation, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He first fully affirmed the important phased results achieved by the group company in the implementation of the oil and gas reserve growth peak project in the past five years: a series of important breakthroughs have been achieved, the exploration field has been expanded, and a number of large-scale reserve areas have been discovered and implemented; The theoretical understanding, exploration ideas and methods of large-scale oil and gas area exploration have been proposed and formed; it has led to the progress and breakthrough of a number of supporting key engineering technologies; and oil and gas reserves planning targets.
After analyzing the opportunities and challenges faced by the development of oil and gas exploration business, Zhou Jiping pointed out that in a long period of time in the future, no matter how the macro situation changes, the tense relationship between supply and demand of domestic oil and gas resources will not change, the role of upstream business as the company's development foundation and profit pillar will not change, and the leading position of oil and gas exploration will not change. The majority of cadres and employees in the exploration system should further enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency for development, continue to promote the peak period of oil and gas reserves growth, and strive to create a new situation in exploration work.
Zhou Jiping pointed out that the group decided that the domestic oil and gas reserves peak project will continue to be implemented for five years. In view of the next step of oil and gas exploration work, he stressed the need to focus on four aspects of work. First, highlight the focus of work, to achieve the scale of increased storage. In general, it is necessary to achieve "three highlights and three enhancements", that is, to highlight the exploration of large basins, key areas, new areas and new areas, as well as to strengthen risk exploration, natural gas exploration and fine exploration in mature areas. The second is to give full play to the overall advantages and promote the progress of engineering technology. The three core technologies of geophysical prospecting, drilling and reservoir reconstruction should continue to tackle key exploration technologies and provide important support for the healthy development of oil and gas exploration. The third is to strengthen exploration management and improve overall efficiency. To scientifically organize comprehensive geological research, continue to adhere to the integration of exploration and development, continue to promote fine management with project management as the core, and give full play to the overall advantages of comprehensive integration. The fourth is to increase the training of talents and continuously improve the quality of the team. Strengthen and improve the education, training and talent exchange of exploration system staff, give full play to the role of exploration system think tank, and strengthen foreign cooperation and exchanges at home and abroad.
