At 20 o'clock on November 25, local time in Iraq, the crude oil production of Iraq's Ahdeb oil field exceeded one million tons. This is another milestone in the development of Ahdeb Oilfield after the first phase of the project was completed and put into production ahead of schedule on June 21.

In June this year, the Ahdeb Project overcame difficulties such as the sharp deterioration of the security situation in Iraq and around the oil region, poor customs clearance in logistics, and tightening of visa processing. It fulfilled its promise. After the first phase of 3 million tons of annual production capacity was completed and put into operation ahead of schedule, it continued to accelerate the construction of 6 million tons of annual production capacity, continuously optimized and improved the single well system, oil treatment system and pipeline export system, and seriously organized crude oil production. Under the circumstances that the late submission of export pumps by international manufacturers caused difficulties in crude oil export, the Ahdeb project was scientifically adjusted. On October 21, the annual output responsibility target of 700000 tons was successfully completed. On November 25, the crude oil production exceeded 1 million tons.
At present, the 6 million-ton oil treatment system in Ahdeb Oilfield has completed the installation of equipment and will be put into production by the end of the year as planned, providing a strong impetus for the construction of "Overseas Daqing" of the group company.
